High School in Georgia begins in the 10th grade and ends in the 12th grade .The course program reflects what our school considers essential to prepare progressive minded, critical, respectful, and well-rounded students ready to continue their studies in the best universities in Georgia and abroad.
The academic curriculum is demanding, and students participate in courses taught in English and Georgian. Various electives are provided to allow students to explore subjects outside the core curriculum.
To assist students with their adaptation to a rigorous curriculum during 10th grade students participate in a variety of transition activities. From 10th grade onward, students are gradually introduced to the high stakes tests they will encounter in the future, such as TOEFL, IELTS, and the SAT (PSAT). The contents of these tests are included in the curriculum to prepare students for them. Students in all grades can participate in extracurricular activities such as: sports, drama, Student Council, which helps them in the development of leadership skills. In addition, students are encouraged and supported by a school leadership and a teaching team which ultimately aims for the students’ success.
